Autumn Fog Upon the Wishbone Tree

Starting at: $1.00

The Wishbone Tree is a gem I stumbled upon one day out while taking a bunch of photography related to Central Pennsylvania for a production a local media company was working on. I almost went right past it, but then it caught the corner of my eye at the last minute. I stopped and grabbed a photo, which I titled "The Wishbone Tree". I came back again one day and got this version of it with the fog. It's slightly more erie than the nice, green summer one that I originally got. Located just off of 114 heading through Bowmansdale, PA, after crossing the Yellow Breeches Creek, you will continue up a hill, and near the top, you'll see Lewisberry Road. Make the hard right there, turn left at the T intersection, and you'll be in Upper Allen township. You'll cross an iron bridge, over the Yellow Breeches again, and then you'll come to a sharp turn to the right. Here, you'll find the Wishbone tree. I captured this photo on 10/30/2004 at 3:33 PM.
