Autumn at Bull Run

Starting at: $1.00

"Bull Run" is the name I give to a tributary that connects with "Beaver Creek", as the locals call it. This location is about a mile downstream from where the dam drains out of Pinchot State Park in York County, Pennsylvania. As I've said before, this area is tough to name. "Beaver Creek" is what I believe to be a local given name, but the actual name is Stoney Run Creek according to the maps. I believe I've seen a tributary on a map named "Bull Run" that joins Stoney Run right where this one does, so I'm pretty certain that's the name. Also, it flows down along Bull Road. And Bull Road will take you right over Stoney Run Creek, right where this tributary flows. I captured this photo on 10/14/2004 at 3:40 PM.
