Autumn at Beaver Creek

Starting at: $1.00

“Beaver Creek” or “Beaver Hole” is what the locals call this spot, located about
one mile downstream from the dam at Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, PA. To get there, follow Bull Road from PA 177 until you get to the bridge. One thing I can't understand is how the Department of Environmental Protection can allow Pinchot to stop the flow of water here, which results in the death of 1000's of fish several times a year. I travel to this spot often, and many times it is completely dry. Another thing that disappoints me is all of the litter people toss out here. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior and I've spent hours picking up after these lost souls. I had to walk out onto a few of the rocks to remove litter before I could even capture this shot. This photo was taken on October 20, 2004 at 2:56 PM off of the bridge on Bull Road that crosses this creek.
