I was out for a walk to the Conewago Creek on a mission to capture some Virginia Bluebell photos before the lighting I wanted was gone. Along the way, I kept passing all of these perfectly formed dandelions. Perhaps I was enchanted by the memories of making many wishes upon them when I was a kid that led me to want to try and reproduce that feeling of dreaming, dreaming that those wishes would come true. This image is somewhat dreamy to me, as I get lost staring into it. I picked one up and held it really close, just as I did when I was younger and couldn't help but notice the beauty of it. The next step, of course, was to get the camera and put it in nice and close. I captured this photo on 4/27/2005 at 7:06 PM at the Satori Farm, a place owned by my family, shared with the community, and threatened by developers and crooked officials. Located in York County, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, and taken on 9/18/2005 at 7:29 AM, I can only hope proper justice will prevail and keep this place here for everyone for years to come.
