I was inside working on web & other design work one day when we had a pretty intense set of storms passing through. Almost immediately when the storm ended, a calm and intriguing light caught my attention. I grabbed my camera and ventured out, hiking down to the Conewago Creek in Lewisberry, PA, where I captured this shot. The "spirits" part of the title comes from the appearance of what looks to be an Indian face, or the image of it's spirit, captured within the shaping of the trees and spots on the water. It's difficult to see, yet many people seem to feel there is something special about this image. I captured this photo on 1/8/2005 at 5:03 PM.
